Should I be interested in representing the region I would become a WA immediately. However I am not interested at this time due to time constraints during the summer. The Speaker must be VERY active to keep tabs on the political happenings of the region, and act on them. I have to confess that you make sense. Is it a matter of conscious or appearances? That depends on the person.

What does the Speaker of the RA have to do with being in WA? Just like TRE said, if you represent the region in government, you should belong to organizations that help strengthen the region. I can see the point here.

Raider scum Honestly though Snolo I don't care where you are involved, I care about the CU. If Marz doesn't want to strengthen our region for the want of a couple simple mouse clicks then why should we assume he will put any effort into this position

Hye, Yav! Let Marzano campaign for himself. He doesn't need his "mommy" to stand up for him, Marie Barone.

You don't have to assume, you just check

I shall make comments on the three posts: #1: You mention you are seeking the delegation of powers, but I do not see that anywhere in your job description. Do you truly know what you are applying for here? Yes, based on what is written in the current constitution. The speaker helps to set the agenda for the assembly and can have considerable influence over matters and policy.#2: Being part of the WA gives military strength to a region. Though we do not have a formal military as of yet we may have our allies call upon us. Do you not think as an elected official of the region do you not think that you should be willing and able to act on a moments notice? I haven't seen any military issues come up yet. Yes, I am prepared to act immediately as required. The reaons for not joining the WA are personal ones not based on regional concerns. It is a matter of preference and conscious as Yavaro says#3: So you are a part of 2 different groups but are unhappy with the results you've derived from them? Why should we vote for you when you cannot get your own house in order? I never said I was unahppy with any of the results. I wish we had done a little more than we did. I apologize if you misunderstood what I wrote. I am happy about our acccomplishments and I hope to see more of them as we get more members on here.

I hope you guys can read my responses to TRE. Let me know if you can't and I can repost another way. I'd also like to thank Snolovania and Yavaros for supporting me. And, thanks, TRE for making me think about this and address issues you think are important. After thinking about the WA issue more, I will go ahead and join. Not because of pressure but I think TRE and Xanxa may have a point. I'm asking the region to suuport me, so it's only fair to support the region.

Do they now? What does Marzano have that G-Tech doesn't? What would motivate me to vote for him instead of G-Tech?

I got a question for Marzano. Even though you've been a member in the region for almost two year, you haven't really done much participation and posting. I think your nation even ceased to exist a couple of times. So...why the interest all of a sudden? I think that's a valid question.

That's a good question. My free time is very limited and is never for set periods of time. I've haven't been very active because of it and that's why I don't run for office. But, you've also got to be careful how question activity. One of the things that sold me in this region is the "no pressure" part of membership. Maybe things are changing and that's no longer the case. Part of your answer should include whether or not you really do have the time to do these things. Look what happened to Exarchos. I don't think he realized how much time he would need to do his official duties.

As G-Tech has stated previously elsewhere he has been here only a couple months and has far surpassed Marz's posting already.

I think that the speaker position is one that will require the person to logon probably everyday. Is this something Marzano is willing to do?
