I'm not opposed to social welfare programs to even out income across the board but the welfare system has gotten out of control. They do have time limits of five years for welfare but alot of these women just time their pregnancies out so they push a baby out every five years. My brother was married to a girl like that. What's worse is the social workers don't check up on benefits alot of times because they're so overworked and understaffed. My brother finally got full custody of his two kids two months ago, and that woman is still getting food stamps for them and they're still taking child support out of his check. I think he finally got them to stop it after sending the custody order from the judge three or four times but they won't give him back the money he's already paid after he got full custody. What kind of crap is that? And, the woman's social worker wasn't aware of the custody issue and acted like he'd look into it later. Later? Why are they letting this women scam the state out of food stamps if she doesn't have the kids anymore? Doesn't make sense.
