I just wanted to let everyone know that articles 5 & 6 should be completed this week to post in the polls. I'm just waiting for Yuyis and Adrianica to look at the proposals and let me know. Art. 5 will probably be out by Thursday since we've pretty much completed our discussion on it. Art. 6 may not come out until the weekend.

Hope you guys have worked out some of the bugs with those two. Just like a couple other people I read some things that didn't make sense or were opposite to things in the other articles.

This is very good news. This process has taken a lot longer than I expected. And, to think that we started drafting constitutional law the day after we founded the region. I never thought that a year later we would still be discussing it and ratifying it. But, we have had some set backs with the other forum going down and people getting busy. Looking back now, I think we should have concentrated more on the recruiting parts and then worried about the forum.

No kidding? A year? Man, you guys are serious about getting this right. I guess it's better to go slowly with something like this instead of rushing thru it. I guess now I'll have to log back in twice this week! That's OK.

I just voted on article 5. I've read article 6 that hasn't been revised. AAs long as you guys on the commission fix that veto part so it makes sense, you can proxy my vote if you post it before I get back.

I have a question about the constitution document. Why are there orders attached to the end? Are they like amendments? If they are not, then why are they not included in the constitution document?

Initially, we wanted a simplified constutution document with peripheral issues related to constitutional law as separate documents. These will be scaled down just a bit. They are not really amendments: they are additions.

Isn't one of them (I'll have to go back and look) just an outline of how and when the articles were approved? If that's the case, it should not be part of the const law. I think processes and detailed definitions of what is in const law should be done on resolutions that are part of const law but not officially included with it. Just what I think.
