Here is what I propose for the petition that we need for this group since Marzano did not complete it like he promised. Parece que tenemos que entregar esta peticion al Imperator para que el la pueda presentar al Consejo del Fundador. Entonces...que opinan?
Tenemos que escoger un nombre oficial. Sugerencias???

Area of Operation: Continental Union and Continental Alliance
Trust Type: Universal Social Trust
Purpose: To unite members of the Continental Union who are of Hispanic or Ibero-american ethnicity or have interest in Hispanic/Latina culture, language, and history. This will be an alliance for the purpose of promoting our common goals and aspirations.
Membership Requirements: Active members of the Continental Union and Alliance who have links to Hispanic or Latina language, culture, history, or ethnicity. Recommended for members to have knowledge of Spanish, and membership applications must be approved by the general members of the group. At some point a charter will be created to make requirements official
Trust Representitive: Marzano
Charter Members: Yuyis, Marzano, Sabastos, Adrianica, Letor, Basileus.

Isn't this supposed to be a political party or is that for later? How about the Hispanic Alliance or the Ibero-American Alliance? Those seem better to me.

I think it should be a political party too. We're starting to get more members on here and the program with ED will help us even more. We need to start now. Why not call this the Hispanic Alliance? It translates into Spanish ok and doesn't sound wierd.

To finish this thing, everyone has to decide on a name. And, we need to find out if this is going to be a political party too. I like "Hispanic Alliance" as a name. I think it combines a couple of things and isn't too long of a name. Yuyis...why don't you put a poll up with different options so people can decide on the name?

OK. I can create a poll but I need to know if the names you have posted are the only options. I have up to now the following names:
1. Ibero-American League
2. Hispanic League
3. Latino League
4. Hispanic Alliance
What more do we have? I will check back in a couple of days to see.

Yuyis...I think you're ok in the name options. I would just post them in a poll on here to see what the people want. And I don't think this should be a political party. I was going to join because of my Latino ancestry not for the politics. Besides, I think we have people from too many different political beliefs in this group and I think it would be a source of conflict.

OK. SO now that we're deciding on a name, who will be submitting this and how long will we have to wait for it? And...political party...ummm...NO. I agree with the statement that we may not be completely compatible when it comes to this. Maybe...a political party can be created later that will be an extention of this group. I think that's a better idea.

OK. I just voted on the name poll and even though it closes tomorrow, I think we now say the official name of this group or trust will be the "Hispanic Alliance." It already has 6 votes out of 7 and only one more person is due to vote (maybe).
Because no one has said anything negative about the application we've posted, I'll assume everyone likes it. I'd like to send it over to the founder's council today so they can get the approval process started. I also added the text Yuyis sent me. Here's what we've got...

I guess that I can post here too. I saw the new topic about this and posted a thank you to it, but it was the one you sent to the council lobby. Thanks for doing this! I agree also with your mentions about the approvals and the name. We will know in the next day or two. I am confident that it will be approved.
