I have a question about my regional citizenship. I know that the Union and the Alliance are separate regions with several things in common, but I am never sure if I can participate in the Union Government. How does this work and how is my nation/profile classified?

According to ROIC 44 and the Continental Trust Articles of Incorporation, you are a citizen of both regions. All those who were in the Alliance on or before March 31, 2012 are also citizens of the Continental Union. I'm sure Adriaticus can vouch for that.

Oh no! No one should ever have to admit that! So are citizens of the CU also citizens in the Alliance? If I wanted to be a duellie too, what would I have to do?

I believe at this point, you will need to create another nation and place it in the Continental Alliance. Automatic duel citizenship was only available to Alliance residents on or before 3-31-12. The Continental Trust may have also other rules for this.

I always considered myself a member of both for no reason except separation is pointless
