I. Official Recognition of the Progressive Conservatives

1. The purpose of this Executive Regional Order-in-Council is to grant Political Trust Status to the Progressive Conservatives as outline in current Regional Statutes.

2. The Quæstor General’s Office has determined that the Progressive Conservatives has met all criteria for a Continental Union Political Trust as outlined in ROIC 17 and II ImpRex 13.

3. The Progressive Conservatives is granted Trust Status for an indefinite period of time provided that this Political Trust complies with Constitutional Law and all Regional Statutes pertaining to Trust Activities.

II. Trust Application

Name of the Trust: Progressive Conservatives

Area of Operation: Continental Union.

Trust Type: Union Political Trust.

Purpose: To unite the members of the Continental Union who are fiscal conservatives, yet believe in socially progressive policies. This will be an alliance whose purpose is to promote our members within the Continental Union.

Membership Requirements: Active members of the Continental Union and Alliance who have similar political views and who are approved by the President King for life, The Ruescher Empire.

Trust Representitive: The Ruescher Empire

Charter Members: The Ruescher Empire, Sabastos, Mono

Tertiary Profile Required? Yes, but not at this time. Once the Trust begins accepting donations and is required to fund programs to promote its political ideas and candidates, then this type of profile will be required. We will notify the Quaestor General's Office when that time comes.

All information on this application to form a political trust has been reviewed by those registered members of the region who are interested in becoming members of this trust. This is a political trust created for the purpose of promoting the common interests and political platform of Progressive Conseratives. This alliance may or may not take part in political processes or activities as its members deem.

This trust and its members will conform to all rules and regulations governing regional trusts and all other related regional statutes. We further affirm that we are not affiliated with any other foreign group or region and have no intention of promoting any foreign group or region.

1. The purpose of this Executive Regional Order-in-Council is to grant Political Trust Status to the Leviathan Union as outline in current Regional Statutes.

Purpose: To unite the members of the Continental Union who believe in the ideas captured by Thomas Hobbes in the Leviathan, and who are of a conservative nature believing in limited public welfare and educating the masses to be productive members of society, in addition to shifting govt power to those who are qualified to yield it. This will be a political union whose purpose is to promote our members and our agenda within the Continental Union.

Membership Requirements: Active members of the Continental Union and Alliance who have similar political views and who are approved by a membership committee to be determined at a later time.

Trust Representitive: Basileus Romanus

Charter Members: Basileus Romanus, Dragos, and Adriaticus

Creation of Memorial in the Embassy of Islam,
An Executive Order of the Founder's Council of the Continental Union.

1. The purpose of this Executive Regional Order-in-Council is to establish a permanent memorial in the Embassy of Islam on the Unified Regional Forum Embassy Row dedicated to those who have lost their lives fighting for democracy and freedom in the Arab world over the last year.

2. The inspiration for this act is the Region of Islam’s former Delegate Imam Baba who, in real life, was killed by Government Forces in Syria between the last week of December 2011 and the first week of January 2012, according to sources in the Region of Islam.

3. The first locked entry on the Embassy will include a virtual green granite slab with an appropriate Arabic calligraphy image and an inscription including the Delegate’s name, region, and a summary paraphrase of the event that lead to his death.

4. These circumstances were investigated by Adriaticus, Sabastos, and Imperator independently contacted different sources.

5. The Founder’s Council wishes to publish this as an official memorial statement and testament to the sacrifices made by Imam Baba in real life and others who have participated in struggles against oppression in the Middle East.

6. The Embassy for the Region of Islam will remain open for use by the Region of Islam whenever they wish to resume ad plenum diplomatic relations. The in memoriam posts made by the admins of the forum will not be deleted and will remain a part of the Embassy’s permanent presence.

7. Xanxabara has been authorized by the Founder’s Council to post materials related to this event in the Embassy of the Region of Islam.

Establishment of Diplomatic Relations with The West Pacific and
Membership in the NS Republic,

1. The Purpose of this Executive Regional Order-in-Council is to authorize the Regional Founder and the Regional Chancellery to establish ad plenum diplomatic relations with the West Pacific and include the Continental Union in the membership of the inter-regional alliance of the NS Republic.

2. The Regional Founder may select ambassadors and envoys to represent the interests of the Founder and the Region in both the West Pacific and the NS Republic.

3. This Order also authorizes the Regional Founder to approve participation in all activities deemed necessary to maintain healthy relations between the Continental Union and both The West Pacific and the NS Republic.

4. The Continental Alliance may send its own delegation to The West Pacific and the NS Republic or it can authorize the Continental Union to act as a Protective Power representing the interests of the Continental Alliance as deemed appropriate by the Continental Trust.

5. The Regional Founder is authorized to monitor the diplomatic mission with The West Pacific and the NS Republic and discontinue the relationship at any time for any reason.

1. The purpose of this Executive Regional Order-in-Council is to officially establish and announce the opening of the Regional Assembly of the Continental Union as authorized by III FCh 4.

2. Dragos, Second Minister of Internal Relations of the Continental Union submits to the Founder's Council that the Region reached Stage III of Regional Governance as defined by III FCh 2(d) as of 15 April 2012:

3. The Founder’s Council has also determined that there is sufficient number of members interested in opening the Regional Assembly and participating in legislative activities as evidence by the posting of a petition in the Regional Assembly board.

4. The Founder's Council of the Continental Union hereby certifies that constitutional requirements for opening the Regional Assembly have been fulfilled and further declares the Regional Assembly operational.

5. Effective immediately upon securing Assent to this Order, the Regional Assembly will take control of all legislative matters of the Continental Union currently exercised by the Founder's Council of the Continental Union as outlined by the Founder's Charter and Constitutional Law.
