True, true, but I have to say that generally the people there are actually very pleasant. My brother-in-law lives in the Pacific Heights district north of Market. Everytime I walk the 10 blocks from where I was able to squeeze my truck to park over to where he lives, nearly every person that walks by me says "Hello" or "How are you doing." No kidding. One time I went to to corner market to get some beer and it started to rain. Two people I passed on my way back to my brother-in-law's offered to share their umbrella. I know, I know what you are probably thinking.
I may not like the politics there (Nancy Pelosi = Newt Gingrich's evil liberal twin), but Bas is right: There's nothing like the City. If I could get a job in San Francisco making $100K a year, I would live there (it is very expensive to live half way comfortably there). The people (even the homeless ones hiding in the trash cans near Pier 39) are pleasant and friendly. And, you have everything within reach...culture, entertainment, etc, etc.

Well since most of what I know of San Francisco is its political slant I really cannot voice an opinion on the city one way or another. HOWEVER! As I naturally hate cities (more of a nature person, which conflicts with my whole video games/anime interests...I am gonna have a hard time with a wife) I can safely say I would hate San Francisco I believe there was a very accurate South Park episode regarding that city....

lol that i know off, no guns allowed xDD ahahah, although my family owns a couple, but not because we live in Texas, rather because my step dad and his brother were in the army, and plus, I like to hunt!! lol and my favorite classes would have to be World History and the others depend on the day lol. Im thinking of going to college to work on a Business Related Major, and have a history related minor :DD lol I like history ^^

Pretty sure they still woulda owned guns if they were not in the army Also hunting? Ya Texas Sorry that is the Texas stereotype Also have to say I'm with ya on the world history thing ^_^ I loved history in high school and seriously considered following it in college/uni. The only reason I didn't follow it in post-secondary is the sole fact the idea of actually doing the amount of work required for history course made me avoid it like wildfire. Instead I follow it now as more of a hobby

hahah i can believe that. and thats why im keeping it as a back up, rather than fully focusing on it, teaching is just odd in my point of view

To be honest I wouldn't mind teaching when I'm in my 50s or something like that. A lot of my college teachers seems to be simply workers in their field who got tired of working in it. So the day may come where I consider doing that as well. It's not a horrible job, first year is a bit rough, but honestly it's a pretty breezy job

Really all you do is go to the school, talk about your job, go home, mark some tests (or better have teaching assistants mark the tests) and you get a high five or low six figure income. Honestly you can live very comfortably doing that. And best part is? No pressure!
