I just wanted to update everyone on what's going on. Because of Regional Elections and the holidays, we sidelined the Charter for a bit. I am sure all of us would like to get that part completed so we can move on. The revised version of ROIC 01 was approved so now we have an "official" outline that legitimizes the changes we have made.
Please take a look at the new Article Six and make any comments or suggest any changes you feel are necessary. By Jan 10 I would like to put it in the polls for final approval. Once that is approved, we can post the entire CL Canon for final ratification. We need 12 active members on the forum for this to be ratified. It looks like we have at least ten based on the elections. Recruiting will help us in this area. Ideally, I would like as many partcipants as possible for ratification. Let me know what you all think.

The new part you guys discussed seems good, but I think officers should have someone back up with them orders or decrees they make so it does not look like they are doing them without authority. It is like a sponsor. Some governments in other countries have that as a rule for ministers to publish decrees.

What is this back up program you mention? It sounds very interesting. I am not sure if I exactly understand what you propose.

That is a good question. When you mention "back up" do you mean another officer to sponsor or approve whatever measure they are proposing?

Hello everyone! I think Letor means to have another official sign with the minister who eill issue an order. This way no one can make orders and decrees alone. I think this is a good idea. I do not know if everyone agrees.

OK. This is good. Here's what I propose...ministry decrees should be endorsed by the chancellor. This will address the issue. Notice I say "endorse" not "approve" since Sab and Yuyis think I'm all about the power! LOL!

Oh, forgot to mention. Think we need to uncomplicate the chancellor's part. It seems a little confusing.

This endorsing is a good idea. It helps to keep the processes democratic.

I like the endorsement part. I think ministers should have another member of the cabinet endorse their orders and the chancellor should have one of the ministes endorse his orders.

When do we see the final version of these things?

Hello everyone!
I've just posted the revised article six a poll on here so we can approve it and put the entire charter in the polls for ratification. I rearranged a couple of things and included suggestions about the endorsements for orders.
