Quit Trashing Obama's Accomplishments!

An impressive list of accomplishments:


First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.

First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.

First President to preside over a cut to the credit-rating of the United States.

First President to violate the War Powers Act.

First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

First President to defy a Federal Judge's court order to cease implementing the Health Care Reform Law.

First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party.

First President to spend a trillion dollars on 'shovel-ready' jobs when there was no such thing as 'shovel-ready' jobs.

First President to abrogate bankruptcy law to turn over control of companies to his union supporters.

First President to by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat.

First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal immigrants across the U.S., including those with criminal convictions.

First President to demand a company hand-over $20 billion to one of his political appointees.

First President to terminate America's ability to put a man in space.

First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.

First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.

First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly spoke-out on the reasons for their rate increases.

First President to tell a major manufacturing company in which state it is allowed to locate a factory.

First President to file lawsuits against the states he swore an oath to protect (AZ, WI, OH, IN).

First President to hide his medical, educational and travel records.

First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.

First President to go on multiple global 'apology tours'.

First President to go on 17 lavish vacations, including date nights and Wednesday evening White House parties for his friends paid for by the taxpayer.

First President to have 22 personal servants (taxpayer funded) for his wife.

First President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000 a year at taxpayer expense.

First President to repeat the Holy Quran tells us the early morning call of the Azan (Islamic call to worship) is the most beautiful sound on earth.

First President to take a 17 day vacation.

I'm more a middle of the road conservative and I have to admit you're right. We can't blame everything on Pres. Obama. Did I vote for him? Yes, because I was afraid McCain would just be an extention of the same old crap. Will I vote for him again? Absolutely not. I really don't like my ol' buddy Mitt...I was hoping they'd find someone not so conservative and churchy. Obama was dealt a deck of dirty cards but he failed to make the best of it and cure the problem. He started too many things and I don't think he completely finished most of them. Maybe I'll just boycott this election. They really should put a "none of the above" option on the ballot. Hey, isn't that one of the NS dilemmas?

Here's an option Sab. Instead of being a complete tool and either being forced to vote between a Giant Douche or a Turd Sandwich or simply being a lazy sumbitch and not voting at all, why don't you, now stay with me here, vote independant? Gasp-shock-awe I know! Who would imagine someone not voting for the two parties who continue to ruin American politics? You wanna protest the horrible options you're given? Then vote independant, it gets your point across.

It is essentially seen as a protest vote, by not voting all you are doing nothing. You are not getting your point across by not voting. Vote in someone different, anything then the two parties that continue to poison democracy

Not voting is just plain giving up on the system. People that do that think that if they don't vote, no one can blame them for anything. But what you're really doing is allowing all the others who get out and vote more influence and a louder voice. I used to live in Chandler in an area of alot of retirees. These were Sheriff Joe's supporters. Alot of us younger guys thought what's the point of voting, but what we were really doing was giving all those ultra conservative white folks more power over us more liberal thinkers. Those people made up about 20% of the population but because they were a strong voting block they overpowered everyone else at the polls. Something to think about.

Well that's exactly the case. The AARP is the largest voting block in the United States, why? Not because they outnumber everyone, no, it's because no one else votes. They lead the charge for American politics because everyone else is a bunch of lazy assholes. Get off your asses and vote. Get your friends to vote, your family, EVERYONE GOD DAMMIT >_< I effectively got my mother to vote after 20 years of not voting by just harrassing her and bullying her into it. If everyone else did that we would be a hell of a lot better off

This list is quite amusing! And, of course, there's been just a tiny bit of misrepresentation with some of the items. I'm an Obama supporter (partly because of party loyalties). Perhaps he hasn't done the most stellar job, but I honestly believe McCain couldn't have done much better considering the unresolved issues that Pres. Airhead Bush left behind. It's difficult to address and solve all the serious issues our nation faces when you have to lug around a ginormous pooper scooper to clean up someone else's mess.

I must say that there are a couple of things on that list that I do agree were more injurous to the president than helpful...like the acceptance of the Peace Prize and Michelle's "ladies-in-waiting." I'll give you those. But keep in mind that Mr. Romney is NOT the best alternative. He does things in business that he scorns in politics. This is an hypocracy worth thinking about.

Touche! Yes, there is both truth and untruths here. The fact that not enough has been done is the real glaring concern. OK, yah, he inherited a mess and Bush wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but Obama could have done more instead of just thowing money we really don't have at the problem. I'm think it was a necessary act but he directed the cash to places and people who traditionally are not ones to easily part with cash. Romney is not doing himself any favors by not correcting some of the irregularities in his business activities. And I think he's making things worse by not responding in some way. We'll see.

Seuss from what it sounds like you have very little, i.e. none, points actually supporting Obama. From what it sounds like you support him mainly because he is the lesser of the evils. Is this what you should expect from your politicians? NO! Stop being such a fucking follower and find a new god damn path

Isn't that why they formed the Tea Party Movement. But I don't see them doing much of anything to take votes away for the Big Two. I think the press looks at the TPM as a bunch of reactionaries trying to disguise themselves as "revolutionaries" who do an even better job of making fools of themselves in public. Vote Liberatarian! Just think...if they win, they'll get rid of he Federal Income Tax...it's unconstitutional anyway. Yeah! No more IRS! No more earned income credit that the ghetto bangers use to buy their 20" rims and giant TVs! Yeah!

Honestly the US could use a 3rd or 4th major political party. The money is there for it, don't say it's not. Honestly having more would be better, but as long as the sheep continue to follow the 2 failure parties America will never have a need for change
